At Howcat, we take pride in offering imaginative, high-quality 3D wooden and paper puzzles inspired by steampunk and fantasy design. Each item is crafted with care to deliver an exceptional DIY experience. However, if something isn't quite right with your order, we’re here to help.

📅 30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order. To qualify for a return:

The product must be unused, unopened, and unassembled
It must be in the original packaging and in the same condition it was received
A valid proof of purchase or order number is required

🛑 Please note: Due to the nature of DIY assembly kits, we cannot accept returns for opened packages or partially assembled products.

📦 How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact us at info@howcat.eu with:

Your full name and order number
The reason for return
Photos if the item is damaged or incorrect

If your return is approved, we’ll provide:

A return shipping address
A prepaid return label (if applicable)
Step-by-step instructions

⚠️ Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted or refunded.

🛠️ Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Be sure to include photos so we can quickly evaluate and resolve the issue.

🚫 Items Not Eligible for Return

For safety and quality assurance, the following items cannot be returned:

Opened or assembled puzzle kits
Custom or limited-edition models
Gift cards or sale items
Items with missing original packaging
Personal care or flammable items (if applicable)

If you're unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, email us before placing your order.

🔁 Exchanges

Need something different? The fastest way is to return your item (if eligible) and place a new order for your desired product.

🇪🇺 EU Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your purchase within 14 days of delivery—without giving a reason.

Products must remain:

Unused and unopened
In original packaging and condition
Accompanied by valid proof of purchase

Exceptions for opened products and other restrictions listed above still apply.

💳 Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status. If approved:

Your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days
Banks and card providers may take additional time to finalize the transaction
